Overview

The EverTag Tag nRF54 is a battery-powered Wirepas tag/anchor based on the same PAN611 (nRF54L15) module used in the EverTag Station family. It is a compact, battery-operated device with on-board accelerometer, external NFC (ST25DV04K), LED, and button.

Key Differences from EverTag Station

Feature Tag nRF54 (230220) Station (232200)
Power source Battery (V_BAT) 5V from Power Base Module
NFC External ST25DV04K (I2C + antenna coil) Integrated nRF54 NFC (PCB antenna)
Accelerometer LIS2DH12TR (SPI) Not populated
LED Red LED (simple GPIO) WS2812B RGB (single-wire)
Button Push button (P2.06) Not populated
WiFi / Gateway No Optional (ESP32-C5 on 232202+)
Battery backup Native (battery-only device) Optional (232201, 232203)

Firmware Compatibility

The Tag nRF54 boards share the Tag/Anchor (nRF54) firmware build with Station boards 232200 and 232201. The firmware detects the board variant via resistor divider on P1.07 and configures peripherals accordingly. See Firmware Compatibility for details.
