Overview¶
The EverTag Tag nRF52 is the legacy battery-powered Wirepas tag platform based on the Nordic nRF52 MCU. It supports multiple sensor variants for different application needs.
Legacy Platform
The nRF52 platform is firmware-incompatible with the nRF54-based products (EverTag Station and EverTag Tag nRF54). It uses a separate firmware build. New designs should use the EverTag Tag nRF54 platform.
Firmware¶
All nRF52 tag boards run the Tag/Anchor (nRF52) firmware build. Board variant is detected via resistor divider on ADC pin, and the firmware configures sensor drivers accordingly. See Firmware Compatibility for the full matrix.

Document Structure¶
The 230200 Tag Base is the reference document. Sensor variants (230202, 230204, 230206) document only the delta from the base (sensor circuit additions, pin-out changes).
