Known limitations (carried into Rev B planning)¶
The nRF54L15 datasheet review (May 2026) identified hard silicon constraints that this revision does not satisfy:
- SPI accelerometer (
P0.03/P0.04/P1.10/P1.08) is split across ports P0 and P1. No SPIM instance can bind that combination — the accelerometer is non-functional in both SPI and I2C modes on this revision. - Interrupt-driven inputs on P2 (button
P2.06, accelerometer INTsP2.08/P2.09, UART0 RXP2.07) cannot use GPIOTE — P2 has no GPIOTE peripheral. These inputs only function via polling.
Both are addressed in the planned Rev B1 GPIO remap. See Firmware Compatibility for the cross-board impact analysis.
