Known limitations (carried into Rev B planning)¶
The nRF54L15 datasheet review (May 2026) identified silicon constraints affecting this revision:
- UART0 debug (
P0.02TX /P2.07RX) is split across P0/P2 — non-functional. TX-only debug possible. - Battery inputs on P2 —
DC_PRESENT(P2.03),CHARGE_STATUS(P2.04) — must be polled. - Service button (
P2.06) must be polled. - Sensor INT on P2.09 (was
ACC.INT2on 230220) — must be polled. Compatible with Acconeer A121 (host-driven SPI polling, no INT required) but blocks any sensor that needs edge-triggered host wakeup.
Sensor SPI candidate pins (P1.11/P1.13/P1.14/P1.08) are all on port P1, so SPIM22 (P1-only) can bind them — the sensor SPI itself is functional on this revision. Addressed in the planned Rev B1 GPIO remap. See Firmware Compatibility for full impact analysis.
