Safety Warnings¶
AC Mains Voltage
The Power Base Module (lower half of the enclosure) contains AC mains voltages. Do not open the enclosure. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Do not use the device with a damaged enclosure or damaged plug prongs.
- Do not expose the device to water, excessive moisture, or condensing humidity.
- Do not operate outside the rated temperature range (−20 °C to +60 °C).
- Do not block the pass-through outlet if it creates a fire hazard (e.g. overloading the circuit).
- Unplug the device before cleaning. Clean only with a dry cloth.

Pre-Certified Modules
The radio modules (Panasonic PAN611 for Wirepas/BLE, Espressif ESP32-C5-WROOM-1 for WiFi) carry their own regulatory certifications. The final product certification covers integration, EMC, and safety requirements.
RF Exposure¶
The EverTag Station is designed to comply with RF exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. The device should be installed at a minimum distance of 20 cm from persons during normal operation.

Disposal¶
Do not dispose of this product in household waste. Return it to CargoBeacon or a local electronics recycling facility in accordance with local regulations.
The LiFePO₄ battery (variants 232011, 232013) must be recycled separately. Do not incinerate.
