Connectivity Module — Certification¶
The Connectivity Module is the upper housing of the EverTag Station: the radio product (BLE / Wirepas, WiFi, optional LTE and 60 GHz radar). It is certified independently of the Power Base Module — it runs off the Class 2-limited USB rail, so it sits entirely in the low-voltage / radio domain (FCC Part 15, CE RED, environmental directives), not the high-voltage safety domain.
This section is the home for everything specific to the Connectivity Module, so its requirements can be shared with the right stakeholders (e.g. the contract manufacturer / module integration partner) without exposing the charger or system-level material.
Charger is certified separately
The mains charger is certified independently by the supplier — see Power Base Module.

Two-Phase Certification Strategy¶
To minimize initial testing cost and risk, the Connectivity Module is certified in two phases:
- Phase 1 (Initial Launch): Base modules with BLE and WiFi (PCBs 232200, 232201, 232202, 232203).
- Phase 2 (Expansions via C2PC): LTE extension (232210/232211) and 60 GHz Radar (on 232204).
